Shana Levine, Director of Athletics at Lewis and Clark College for the past five years, has accepted the role of senior associate with 3 Fold Group, a higher education consulting firm specializing in Division III athletics and small college strategic initiatives.
"I am delighted to be officially joining 3 Fold Group as a senior associate," said Levine, a respected athletics administrator with more than 15 years of experience in the field. "Navigating the waters in today's high pressure environment of intercollegiate athletics becomes more involved each year, and our group is committed to assisting our small college and Division III colleagues in their quest to provide the best possible experience to their students, coaches and stakeholders."
Levine will be heading up 3 Fold’s new executive coaching/AD transition support group, where her membership and enrollment management knowledge will contribute to the group’s existing program review and strategic planning practice. She brings extensive Division III knowledge to the team from her 15 years of campus and NCAA National Office experience.
“The 3 Fold Group is thrilled that Shana will be further engaged in the consulting practice as our newest senior associate,” said Leah Kareti, principal and founder of 3 Fold Group. “I am so pleased to be able to share Shana's broad expertise, keen intellect and welcoming style with more of 3 Fold's clients. With the addition of Shana, the 3 Fold Group will expand services to include executive coaching for athletics directors and offer workshops on effective data sharing between athletics and admissions to maximize enrollment.”
At Lewis & Clark College, Levine oversaw 19 Division III varsity sports, the institution’s intramural program and the Physical Education Department. Shana worked closely with admissions on enrollment management and identifying creative solutions and strategies to achieve institutional enrollment goals through athletics. She also oversaw a coaching transition with the football team that greatly improved in roster size and competitiveness. Working collaboratively with campus partners, she created a positive transformation of the athletic department by connecting department culture, policies and expectations.
Prior to joining Lewis & Clark, Shana served as the Associate Director of Athletics at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Before Washington and Lee, Levine was the Associate Director of Membership Services/Division III Governance Liaison at the NCAA where she served as the liaison to the NCAA Division III Membership Committee.
Throughout her career, Levine has been an active member of Women Leaders in College Sports, NADIIIAA, NACUA, and has served on numerous NCAA Division III Committees, most recently as chair of the Division III Interpretations and Legislation committee from 2016 – 2018.
A graduate of Washington and Lee University, Levine earned her law degree at the University of Pittsburgh and passed the Indiana Bar.
